Yes sir, that's right and yes sir. You where doing a model A coupe too, yes? Good to see a familiar name, I figured it would only be a matter of time. Thanks.

Yes, I had your pop cut my glass for the Model A, saw his Merc & F1 at that time, mean truck, was probably one of reasons I got the F1 bug.
I talk with your brother Kyle once in a while too, a great help with exhaust options.

Thanks Ed and Dan. Orcas my pop's has had that 51 F-1 since 1974 or 5. That truck has had that affect on many a man. My first one was in 82. They where cheap to get into and the are just like the 50 Ford shoebox, meant to be customized. They beg for it and you can run them Minute Maid commercial stock. Just good looking trucks.
Orcas, how is your A coming along? Mine is all tore apart again and getting deuce rails and a mini channel job and some lightning holes.

It sounds like you have been well welcomed! If you decide on a Jag XJ IFS, there is a collection of experience on the forum. It fits really well under the bonus built chassis. Ask any questions that you may have on a new thread and put Jag in the thread title. There already are several good threads on the forum (search on jag xj ifs) on the Jag IFS installation. The largest thread on the forum is : https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/2...ml#post1650451.
Pix in my gallery of my installation in my 49 with a sbc.
Nice truck!

My A is still in banger form, I drive it when I can here on Beautiful Orcas Island, nothing like a flathead V8 though, the V8 chassis is slowly coming together, been spending all my free time on my F1 lately.
I'll look over at the Journal for your A progress.

Thanks Willard, one of the reasons I joined up was I was lurking on the Jag thing for a bit.
Orcas, I haven't been over there for a bit, but we are building 2 A's now and I will put the build pics over there in some months. My with the Y-block and my pal Jim's has a "Lil" nailhead in his just Like Rolf's hot-rod.
