New fella from Wa. state.
My name is Keith, and I have been lurking for quite sometime so I figured I should just join. I am a artist/fabricator type. I usually am driving one of my various Ford or Mercury trucks. My daily is a chopped, lowered, louvered 51 Merc cord wood hauler pick-up. She is a little bit ruff, but I do use it as a truck. Also have a couple 75 F-series trucks a 100 trailer special and a 250 4x4 both 390 riggs. I recently got a hold of a 50 Ford pick-up that I am thinking about doing the XJ Jag suspension swap to as soon as I find one for the right price. Looking forward to learning more and maybe sharing what little my pea brain has to offer. I have usually had a bonus built truck over the 25 years and I really enjoy checking out everybody's take on these 48-52 classics.

Welcome, Keith! It's always good to have another neighbor on the forum.
I'd love to see some pics of your Merc, so hopefully you'll get an opportunity to post some soon. It sounds like a neat truck. I have Candian VIN decoder info, if you were ever curious what all those numbers and letters mean.
