i think the point of a faq is to stop the forum clutter and have people stop reposting the same damn question over and pver. if people would use the search function we wouldnt need this....
but they dont so we do

Agree 100%

There should be a line at the top that tells people how to use the search feature. I think most people don't even know about it. I find that the search feature is great, but I don't always find what I'm looking for. Even if there are past threads on the same subject, it doesn't always cover the exact same issue.

also there was a thread posted on how to possibly have an easy fix for your steering problem...check that out and add in there too cause all ford trucks seem to have that play in the steering

I see everyones point...I really do...

I see the point of a FAQ, for what it is...Quickly and easily seeing SIMPLE stuff...Trann ID, etc...

I see Subfords' point....The forum needs hits to keep sponsors...But due to amazingly consistent string of totally ignorant people.....I don't think ONE guy actually using the thing, won't make up for the 100 that don't...

And I see the fact that people will eff stuff up....Then blame it on someone else....Yep..Happens all the time....Still will be blamed....So oh well....

As for suggestions-

-Bleeding the brakes-Most don't know about the RABS haaving an extra point to bleed, which can cause the brakes to not function correctly...

-Swapping steering wheels out...I found out that by using a 1991 crown victoria steering column, Grant wheels uses a different part number for the adpater kit, and is $25, instead of $89.99....Just food for thought....And its a 100% bolt in deal...Literally..

-A good list of sites recommended (Beyond our awesome sponsors of course)....A few that comes to mind is www.LMCTruck.com, www.Partsgeek.com....Among a few others....

-Tire sizes, and what speedometer gear is needed when swapping to larger tires. ALSO, how to recalibrate the PSOM for larger tires, so people don't swap to a larger size, then get all pissy because they're viewing bad info as true, and getting BAD MPG readings, odometer being off, etc...

-Charging/Alternator issue help....How to troubleshoot, and narrow it down GREATLY, if no obvious "Well heck, right there's the issue" is found...
