Tires and load rating.

My Dad has a 2010 Ranger 4x4 and needs tires. Stock is P255-70-16.
He wants to put on a slightly larger BFG All-terrain LT265-75-16 but it has a "E" load rating.

Or could go with a BFG LT265-70-16 with a "D" rating.

Is the higher loadrange tire an overkill and going to effect the ride quality?
Or will it be fine with just running 35psi in the tires?
