How wide can I go? Tire Width.
I am trying to figure out how wide a tire I can fit under my 66' Mercury M-100.
I put a 31x10.5-15 on the truck and found that I only have about 1/2" on either side of the tire.
Have any of you guys put a deep offset wheel in the rear and widened the wheel tubs to fit a tire say... 12" wide? I am going to run a M/T ET streets.
I am not using a custom width differential either.
I need all the tire I can get @ 500 H.P.
