1989 7.5l EFI

I have a 1978 Bronco with a 7.5L from a 1978 van that is currently running a carburetor . I want to fuel inject the engine and have found a complete engine out of a 1989 F-250. My plan is to use a Megasquirt engine controller and just swap out the heads and intake from the EFI engine to the current carb'd engine. My questions are the heads and intake worth the effort to swap? Has anyone used a Megasquirt engine controller on a 7.5L?

Thanks
Quinn

I'm not sure but I have a 97 EFI 460 that I'm selling all the parts off (cheap) so I can stroke it, where are you located?
I also know the '97 ran 220HP/400TQ
