Dana 60 swap question

Just found a Dana 60 from a single wheel crew cab. The guy wants 500 for it but told me atleast 7 times to make an offer. Bead blasted the tag and it said 3.54. So it will work for me. However he doesnt have calipers or outer hubs..Will my F250 hubs fit?

Yes, F-250 hubs will work. Even D-50 hubs will work!

It was from a 96 he said. Im going to buy it soon, and tear it all apart and sand blast and rebuild it all. Then throw it in over the winter.

I ran 37's and 3.55's for several years. Got 4.10s now, but sure miss the 3.55's.

you could but if he had the front end out and did the d60 it would be taller with the shackle flip? the d60 itself will level out a f250

Supposed to. RSK and F350 rear blocks and you'll be level... supposedly. NOT in my case! Use the F350 springs.

96 and 97 didn't use kingpins.

Dana 60's from the late 80's on are all balljoint

The rotors, calipers and hubs from a F250 (TTB D-50) are the same as the srw F-350 (D-60). I think even the spindles are the same. Go to a parts store and have them look up the p/n. They are the same. Brake pads are even the same.
Now the dually's are a different story.
