Anybody going to the swap meet next week-end? Midwest Obsolete and Hot Rods F-100 vendors are usually there. It takes all day just to see part of the meet-it's HUGE!
Did you see the beautiful dark green Mustang fastback in the Car Corral? The price seemed pretty reasonable to me. To be honest I also like the 62 Vette for sale too.
That's beautiful! Is it a real GT 350(OK- I had to ask)? You look a bit too young to be driving!
Its a 67 GT FASTBACK . Shelby only converted the GT's into the Shelby GT 350 and GT 500. 350 being the small blocks and 500 the big blocks. In 69 they put the BOSS 302 4 BOLT MAIN 351 HEADS in the Shelby. Thats what i have in it. It has the Shelby side scoops/hood/truck lid. Also updated with a T5 Trans. and IRS . Handles alot better then the old rearend. I have 8k miles on it now and i would drive it across the US 2mor. I have got it up to 135 SO FAR and it drove like a dream. I had a time learning to use my hip to push the clutch. Got a pad screwed to the paddle to help with this. Its set up so good i don't even use the clutch but to put it in 1st and R. I have only 1 leg thats why i did this. When i got it i had 2 and was useing it to build it back up after the accident then i got a blood clot and they had to take it. After all that hard work and pain to keep it . Sorry i am rambling on. THEY TOOK MY LEG NOT MY SPIRIT.
I figured those discs in the rear weren't stock. Sorry to hear about your leg! But, you're correct, it's obviously not keeping you from enjoying life. Rock on!
