Does anybody know if there is a cold air intake system for a 2008 F350 SD 6.8 out there? I have looked around and find no such creatures to be had. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i picked one up for my 2000 from www.5strtuning i checked his website he only offers the s&b intake that goes up to 2004. give him a call maybe he can help.
The stock system is great....changing it will be a downgrade.
Try to stay away from a K+N as all they do is wear out your engine sooner by letting in more dirt. There is a reason that a KN voids the warrenty of a diesel. An Airaid filter is twice the quality if a KN.

Agreed. If you are using your truck in any type of dusty conditions the K&N is a great way to let more dirt into the engine. The guys I know who run them are using a filter sock but with all these layers how much flow are you getting?
And if there is no improvement whats the point?

I have about 300k miles on K&N filters in various Ford gas engines (5.0L, 4.6L and 5.4L) without an issue. No dust in the intake tube, no gummed up MAF sensor, no premature engine wear.
It does not help with power or fuel mileage, but it does eliminate a few more air filters from the land fills.
