No Time - Getting Ranch Hand - Driving light Ideas??
Ok - I have been building 5" pipe bumpers since the late '70's - Never bought any front replacements - I got started on the '11 but I am out of time until after hunting season (I guide deer hunts)... So I broke down and will get a Ranch Hand (Legend) - They come with a place to mount factory fog lights & I don't have them - So.. I am thinking some sort of driving lights.. I think the holes are like 4" round (I don't have bumper yet) Can anyone recommend some good (powerful) lights? I drive a lot of country/back roads without traffic so I am not worried about blinding people - really worried about deer & hogs.. I will be wiring them to my upfitters and would hope that I wouldn't need any other relays or anything...
if you want bright lights kc lites are my pick. i have a pair of the daylighter's that i want to put on the truck when i get time.the ones i have are 150 watt sealed beam 385,000 candle power per light.
hahah well agreed!! Thats why my excursion had one and my F350 just got a Top Gun full front replacement a couple months ago. Top Gun is a Ranch hand style.. But i like the way the Front replacements look like, so all my trucks get them.. Ppl in ohio always give me odd looks when they see it on my truck hahah. If they ask, i tell them its a texas thing lol.. So dont forget the pics. Im eager to see one on a 11 MY!
Vision X or Rigid Industries LED Bars or Lightforce. The LEDS are extremely bright .... Some say brighter than HID! they are not cheap. the Lightforce are great conentional lights.
