What is a used Van Turbo worth

Thought I'd ask since I snagged a 1.15 A/R housing GTP38R from clay. I do have the 1.15 A/R housing Van Turbo and it has about 30K on it. Just wondering what I can expect to have when I ebay the thing. I don't want to ask ridiculous prices and have it sit but I don't want to give it away for a song either.

Clay said he would get it to me by next week. I can't wait to see the damn thing. Based on past purchase, I doubt he will be sending a couple of hotties in low cut blouses and short skirts to help me install it so I will be getting a mechanic to help me as an "after hours special". It would be someplace warm to work with good lighting.

I thought I see new ones going for about $700 with free shipping. Rule of thumb seems to be 1/2 to 3/4 of new price. Any ideas? TIA.

I'd guess the same used. I assume you'll be sending the adapter outlet with it, right? I got mine for $200, had to rebuild it (+$100), then but the outlet adapter (+ another $100)....

I don't think so since I will need the adapter plate. AFAIK, the 1.15 housing will be similar to mine and I have no wastegate or EBPV right now.

If your not including the adapter then that would drop a little off.

Probably should start ebay at say 300 and let the bidders decide where to take it?

I guess 300 and let the bidding begin on ebay would be a fair start since I would reuse the adapter.

Yes it will very nicely too. I know of 3 members here that have run them with stock sticks and been very happy with them

It works so far with up to Stage II AC injectors and when I started out, I had stock sticks so I think it will work well. More than Stave II AC injectors, I can't say.

And also, Andy, since Jeremy is interested and you guys could work something out you'd be saving on all those good ole E-Bay FLEA'S after the sale. He has been talking about one for a while now. Its time to pull the trigger Jeremy.. Peer pressure in adult form.

I wouldn't be opposed. I didn't know someone else here was interested. My main thing is to figure out what to ask for it when it comes out and ebay was the first thing that came to mind. Craigslist has been having some rumblings against them lately.

CL is a 50-50 shot on anything. I bought a nice kitchen set from an elderly couple and saved myself a ton of money but in the same aspect a few other items that I have emailed about was nothing but spammers wanting your email address.

I do want one but I have a few things that need to come first like tires. Now if you keep it or have it in a few months then I am in. As soon as the truck is payed off ( in a few months ) then its let the spending start. But you don't have to hold it for me i'm sure I can find another one..
