Once you get some where like 15 posts you will have the ability to PM (private message). That is like a message you ca send to me and not be viewed by anybody else.
I will send you an e-mail so we can talk. Or get more posts and PM me.
Yes the harness is in great shape and not cut into at all.

To start with, I am going to run everything "as is" as far as the engine mods are concerned. It's used, so I don't know exactly what I have, or even if it runs. I've been told it has approximately 20,000 miles on it. I think they told me it has an E303 cam (or similar). I can tell it's been rebuilt because there was permatex on the lower intake (where it meets the lifter valley). I don't know about the injectors. I may or may not play around with them after I get it running. I'm not looking for monster horsepower, just a good running engine that i can depend on. The AOD has "McBuilt" spraypainted on the back of the bellhousing, and the torque converter looks brand new, so I am reasonably certain something has been done to it as well.

The project truck is a '53 F100. I've had it for two years, and am just now to a point financially where I can work on it. Thanksgiving weekend, a buddy of mine and my father in law came over and we welded in a Heidt's Mustang II front crossmember. I've inserted a link in here to my photobucket pics. They are not up to date, as my frame has NO body on it at the moment. I have the motor (and trans) installed and would like to get it fired up and check it for oil leaks before I go any farther. Basically, I'm using my frame as an engine test stand for now. After that I plan to tackle the rear end. I really want to run a 4 link set up with a late model explorer rear end. (We have an all Ford salvage yard here in Memphis that will provide one with less than 100k miles on it for $300.)

As far as your harness is concerned. Is it compatible with a distributor set up? Didn't the late 5.0 Explorers run a distributorless system? I have a TFI distributor, and I really don't want to go with the coil pack set up since I already have a working distributor.

All of my sensors are from the 1989 Musting 5.0, so as far as connectors go, that's what the harness would need to plug in to. I'm not against splicing my connectors into your harness since your harness is "unmolested". I don't mind modifying it, I just don't care to try to start after someone else has hacked into it like mine is now. I think for the price you are asking, I can go ahead and buy it if it will work with my distributor.
