Don't worry Slim. It take time to learn the ropes and figure out how to get around in here. I'm 58 myself and realized I had to login and check my User CP button up on the menu bar to get updated on who said what to whom. You'll get the hang of it. If you haven't already I recommend activating the email feature so you'll get email updates when members of this group and others leave a comment. I'll add you as one of my "friends" to help get ya started and, Happy New Year!

Just took a 3 hour tour around FTE Forums.... lol (Gilligan got off the Island faster) Found and joined a few more groups. You will probably get emailed by FTE on it. I have that working, but I cant add myself to WAFTE Google Maps. I don't get the edit control shown in the youtube instructions. any ideas? Jeff in Federal Way.

APOLOGIES for wasting your time..... In my most recent exploration, I find that there is a requirement to be "Signed In" to Google to be allowed edit access. I guess it is "just one feeble step at a time" for us old farts! lol
Think I finally got myself added!?!

SD connection
I remember from my childhood, there used to be A summertime South Dakota Picnic held at Saltwater State Park. It was kinda fun seeing just how many SD transplants were there. (lol kicking myself.... 50 years ago!)

Saltwater state park is an awesome place. I went camping there before and me and my friends brought our bicycles and went riding around some trails. That really steep road going into the parking lot? We rode down that a few times. I swear I got up to 40 on a bmx bike with no brakes. I had to put my foot in the back tire to slow down, which was fine under normal circumstances, however I had thin foam sandals on (didn't think to bring shoes). I'd do it all over again the same way if I could.
