New headlights arrived!
Now just need time to install them... My driver headlight lense has an inch of water in it from a crack somewhere, plus they are foggy as hell!
Also noticed that the plastic panel that everything mounts to is damaged. The passenger side has two big holes/cracks where the corner/signal light piece is supposed to bolt in. So that piece is only held in by the two screws on top. I hope I can pull it off and use some epoxy to fix that. Or find a good one at a junk yard.
I'll do a full write-up with pictures this weekend (hopefully).
Old and New
Much better!
Corners too!

I may do that later, but kinda like the orange ones and they're still in good shape.
They are aftermarket, got them on Ebay $80 shipped. Chase (superduty4x4) used the same headlights I got and did HID install also. The OEM headlights were never this clear.
Are those OEM?They look nice and hopefully you can find some newer lenses. Let me know how much of a difference it makes; I have been contemplating going for an HID headlight kit as I do a lot of off roading and the headlights are about 1/8 the cost of a light bar and 2-3 HID's.
Thanks

The seller ID on ebay for the headlights is parasitesingle
Here's Chase's writeup:

And here's a site for HID kits for good price, lifetime warranty:
custom HID conversions, HID kits, LED, CCFL specialists - retrosolutions

The DDM kit that I used also has a lifetime warranty, but costs much less than retro solutions. I went 55w 5000k and couldn't be happier. So far no issues with any of the components. I get flashed occasionally, its very random when it will happen and who will do it. Aiming them down just a tad would solve the problem I'm sure.
