1990 F250 F/I 351 Windsor. Emissions. Headers. Exhaust. Axle Swap..ETC

the trucks drives and runs fairly well just needs some improvements if i want to show it off and possibly do some trial/mud driving.
the first thing is the all the unnecessary emissions junk that was put into the engine that year. is there any thing that robs horsepower and torque that can be removed or upgraded without messing with the sensors?
i also would like to put headers and run some exhaust.
i would go with some summit brand headers or hedman hedders but i noticed on my manifold there are tubes connected to the top that all run to a single hose and im not sure what this is or if not having that on the headers would affect anything. i also dont want to run a catalytic converter but i believe there is a sensor in it and im not sure if you can just remove it or what i need to do to remove it and not mess anything up.
the last thing is the stupid twin i beam front axle and suspension, i would like to do an axle swap but im not sure what to replace it with?
any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Random question... I broke one of the bolts that goes right by the transmission lines on the cross member, it holds on the bracket?... the ones in the middle of the fourth pic. From the factory the two bolts were connected with a welded on bracket. Did you use the two bolts that were connected? Or did you use two independent bolts?

Wow is this an old thread. I used all new bolts to hold on the brackets.
