We really have to say, we love the Ford Explorer. The younger sibling to the Ford Bronco II and competition to the Jeep Cherokee and Chevrolet Blazer back when it first came around, these rides have been strutting their stuff for a little while now.

While I’m sure we’ve all heard the taunts and jokes geared toward these rigs (more than once we’ve heard a Chevy fan mutter “Exploder” under their breath), there really is not denying that these hearty SUVs have established themselves in Ford history. From the newly-created family SUV to the determined and capable Explorer police packages we see today, these rides don’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon.

In today’s video, we get to take a look at one of these enduring rigs. In fact, we get to take a look at one of them that seems to be happily settled into it’s element. Because, while these rides are very good daily drivers, road trip, and family rigs, they also serve their owners well in another way — that is, getting airborne. For some strange reason, these one of the most common Ford trucks that we see flying high!

In this specific clip, we get to see a white Ford Explorer soaring high after launching off a hill, and coming in for a rather bumpy, but successful, landing. Check out the video below and see for yourself!
