Hennessey Drops the HPE600 F-150 Bomb
While we’re still about a year away from seeing if the new Raptor can live up to the old one. Although from the exterior bits, and performance data we’ve already been privy to, it’s sure to be amazing. We can take solace that the folks down at Hennessey are doing their very best at building something to bridge the gap between now and the new Raptor.
According to the Texas tuners, their new 2015 Ford F-150 is amazingly fast, and completely stock looking which makes it all the better. Using the 5.0L V8 in conjunction with a blower, the new Hennessey tuned F-150 makes 538 horsepower and 423 lb-ft of torque, at the wheels. The fact that in EcoBoost trim will blow the wheels off at 35 mph makes this F-150 an absolute tire shredding monster.
It also screams like a banshee and I desperately want to do smokey burnouts up and down the street with this thing. Who of you wouldn’t want almost 600 horsepower from your work truck? Just imagine the look on Porsche driver’s faces as you blow their doors off?
