BUILDUP! A 1977 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Build
This Week’s BUILDUP! – A 1977 Ford F-350!
Working on a build is a pretty fulfilling chore. After all, making something completely your own ought to be pretty personable and fulfilling. What could be better than owning a one-of-a-kind Ford truck? Of course, the path to completing a build is often long and hard. Nonetheless, the best things rarely come easily!
Today we’ll be taking a look at the build taken on by FTE member Dave, who is also known by his username daves77crew. He has started working on his 1977 Ford F-350 Crew Cab, and so far all is going well. The body was in good shape to begin with, but a little rust repair is still necessary on the floorboards. He’s still not sure about a paint job, but even so, the rig is great.
The truck is a 1977 sporting a 1979 grille, with a 400 cubic-inch engine, a four-speed transmission, and a Dana 60 rear. A 4″ lift and 20″ rims wrap up the complete package. Dave is hoping to get the rig back into good and working order, and it definitely seems to be well on its way!
