1959 Ford Country Squire is Basically a Lifted F-150 4×4

The Ford Country Squire wagons of old weren’t exactly the most thrilling vehicles on the market. Practical, yes. Great for a family vacation, indeed. But titilating? Aside from the unique body shape, not quite. Some fella decided to spice things up a little bit on his 1959.

For sale on Craigslist in Troy, N.Y. is this lifted wagon. For $20,000, you get a body that apparently has 30,000 miles on it. It’s been massively lifted, it has 18-inch wheels, and A/T tires. Under the hood is the engine out of an ’80s F-150 and matched with a 351 2-barrel automatic transmission.

Who wouldn’t want one of these? JUST LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL WING:

The wood and body seem to be in good condition. The interior looks okay, save from the updated radio and weird furry dash cover. If you’ve ever wanted a car with turbine taillights, this is a pretty solid option.
