Blue Oval Build

YouTuber Cleetus McFarland has certainly made a name for himself - not to mention attracted a huge following with over three million subscribers - by building some seriously fast machinery. However, most of those builds are of the General Motors persuasion, though his most recent creation is more up our alley - this supercharged Ford F-150, which recently made serious power on the dyno.

Backing It Up

Fresh off the installation of a Whipple supercharger, this F-150 is certainly sounding right and driving right, as we can see when we tag along with McFarland to the gas station to fill it up with E85. However, none of that matters if it can't lay down serious numbers on the dyno, which is precisely where he heads next.

More Boost

On low boost, the F-150 impresses in a big way, as its boosted 5.0-liter Coyote V8 cranks out an impressive 765 horsepower on its first run. Thus, McFarland and his crew swap out the pulley to give it more boost, then give it another rip to see what happens.

Sports Car Beater

This one simple change results in an increase of over 100 horsepower, bringing that total up to a staggering 867 raging ponies. In a regular cab pickup that doesn't break the scales and is mated to a built 10-speed automatic transmission, that sort of output is enough to embarrass some sports cars, too.

Giveaway

As great as all of this sounds, the biggest news about this boosted Ford F-150 is that McFarland is giving it away to one lucky fan. Like most YouTubers, he's giving us that chance by buying merchandise for entries, though no purchase is required to enter. Either way, somebody's going to get a pretty sweet street-pounding F-150 pretty soon, one that will make for a heck of a fun driver and sports car hunter.
