Quick Hauler

Those that have spent any reasonable amount of time on YouTube are already likely well aware of the ultra-popular Cleetus McFarland channel, where the Florida-based, mullet-wearing young man who goes by the same name performs all sorts of automotive shenanigans on a daily basis. McFarland also builds, owns, and drives some seriously fast machines, the fastest of which is this - a supercharged Ford F-150 that makes serious power and recently hit the track for some shakedown runs.

Formidable Foes

At the track, McFarland pits his supercharged pickup against a trio of formidable foes - a C7 Corvette, a Ram 1500 with a Hellcat swap, and a Silverado with a turbocharger. The C7 - the truck's first opponent - also belongs to McFarland, and it's far from stock, with a Procharger and various other mods helping it make big power.

Narrow Margin

These two machines line up a total of four different times, and each proves to be incredibly close. Each time, the F-150 manages to get off the line a bit quicker, but the Corvette reels it in at the top end. Ultimately, the C7 takes the win here, but it's a narrow margin of victory for certain.

Healthy Margin

As for the 707-horsepower Ram, it seems like it might provide a close match as well. The owner has removed the tailgate in an effort to shed as much weight as possible, but it still doesn't stand a chance against the mighty F-150, which beats it by a healthy margin.

Race of the Day

The final vehicle that the F-150 might do battle with on this particular day is the Silverado, which also just so happens to be its chief competitor on the sales charts, too. Both also happen to put on what might arguably be the best race of the day, too.

Close Shave

Both of these boosted trucks hit the 60-foot mark at around the same time, and both stay relatively even all the way down the track. However, the F-150 does manage to pull away at the top end and take home the victory. It's an impressive run indeed, and the margin of victory is about as close as they get.

Simple But Effective

There was a time, not terribly long ago when most wouldn't dream of wasting their time transforming trucks into straight-line dragsters, but things have truly changed. Now, it's pretty easy to make a modern truck a world-beating weekend warrior, as we can see from this simple yet effective F-150 build.
