More Options

A few years ago, the folks at Beechmont Ford in Ohio created something pretty darn cool - brand-new Ford F-150 pickups sporting two-tone paint jobs and other styling elements that added some retro flair to the latest-generation model. Now, Beechmont is back with yet another retro F-150 for the 2023 model year, but it has added some options that should prove enticing for customers seeking out one of these cool rides.

More Power

The big news here is that customers can now spec their retro F-150s in two different ways, at least when it comes to powertrains - the stock 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that churns out 400 horsepower, or the optional Ford Performance/Whipple supercharged version that ups that figure to an impressive 700 ponies. Both the standard model and BFP Retro F-150700 - as Beechmont calls it - can be spec'd with either an MBRP or Roush cat-back exhaust, too.

Shiny Stuff

Of course, there's also plenty of retro goodness on the outside to whet one's appetite, too. That list includes the obvious two-tone color scheme, which adds a nice throwback look to the brand-new pickup, as well as a ton of chrome covering the bumpers, front grille, door handles, running boards, badging, and bed rack.

Improved Stance

The BFP retro F-150 rides on a set of polished aluminum Pro Comp wheels that look a lot like what this same model wore in the 1990s, which in this case are wrapped with a set of BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. Thanks to a three-inch lift, the throwback hauler features a nice stance while also adding more capability off the pavement.

Shedding Light

The proverbial icing on the cake here is provided by a set of KC Daylighter, yellow smiley face lights, which are mounted atop the bed rack to shed considerably more light in times when one might find themself in need of such a thing. And when they aren't, the retro-styled lights just look plain cool as-is.

Pricing

In terms of pricing, the BFP Retro F-150 package starts out at $12,995 for the standard version, and $25,095 for the 700 horsepower supercharged pickup, though neither of those prices includes the donor truck. With that factored in, these builds typically go for somewhere between $75,110 and $87,210, though there's a lot of range here based on what options the customer ultimately chooses. BFP notes that it can essentially customize a new F-150 however a customer wishes, which could be a fun yet pricey endeavor.
