ICON 4x4

We're certain that ICON 4x4 needs no introduction to the regulars here on Ford-Trucks.com. But for those unfamiliar with the amazing work of Jonathan Ward and his factory in Southern California, ICON is a restomod manufacturer that is responsible for some of the highest quality Bronco builds out there. They've become a household name in the industry in recent years.

Joe Rogan

By the same token, we're sure that Joe Rogan is well known to most in this country, if not across the globe, as a pop culture mainstay. He has risen to superstardom predominantly through the growth of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. But his primary occupation prior to the podcast has been stand-up comedy.

BR #41

Needless to say, he's acquired a great deal of wealth in recent years, and his love for cars and collecting them has been public knowledge. One of the most notable items in his collection is this custom-built ICON BR. In a video published by Jonathan Ward on his YouTube channel, he takes Rogan's Bronco for a test drive and gives us a walkthrough of the build.

Well-Optioned Brocno

It's a well-optioned ICON BR, as Ward puts it, with no expense spared. And you wouldn't expect anything less. On the exterior, the matte silver paint beautifully contrasts the blacked-out elements of the truck, like the wheels and tires, the grille, and the trim around the exterior. The windows are reflective as well, which gives the car an even stronger visual profile from side view.

Coyote V8

Under the hood, of course, lies the legendary Coyote 5.0 V8. The mill is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission that sends power to all four corners. It's no doubt an amazing beast to get behind the wheel of. And the driving experience is further enhanced by the creature comforts on the interior. And let's not forget the distinguishable bison hide leather.

Rugged Build

The chassis on which the classic Bronco's skin is mounted is another area where the ICON team really shines. They take their time to build the suspension and drivetrain using the best custom-made parts to deliver reliable power and an endless amount of off-roading fun. No doubt, Joe would have taken advantage of these capabilities back when he lived in California, and now down in Texas.
