Looking Good

To us, there's simply nothing better than a clean 1970s Ford pickup. That's especially true when you find one covered in an attractive shade of green, which just happens to enhance the already attractive flanks of Ford's Dentside pickup even further. For proof, look no further than this gorgeous 1978 Ford F-150 that we recently spotted over at Ford Daily.

Rare Combination

This short bed, Flareside Ford is also not something you see every day, as this particular body style wasn't quite as popular back in its day as the more utilitarian long bed configuration. Throw in the fact that it's also a four-wheel-drive pickup, and that makes it even cooler.

Older Paint

The owner of this vintage Ford, Todd Vollink, notes that the paint job is roughly 10-12 years old, but you'd be hard-pressed to tell by the condition it's in. The body and paint don't appear to have any sorts of dents, scratches, or other imperfections, which is a testament to his care over the years.

Timeless Look

While we love the way these trucks look in stock form, we are digging the period aluminum slotted mag wheels fitted to this particular F-150, which are wrapped in a beefier set of BFGoodrich rubber for a fantastic, timeless look that just never goes out of style.

More of a Cruiser

This stellar Ford also sports a beautiful wood bed that ensures you'll never want to toss a bunch of stuff back there, at least unless you're gentle enough not to damage it. After all, this classic ride is more of a cruiser these days than a workhorse, though we're sure it can do that, too.

Retro Vibe

Capping off this amazing old truck is a super clean interior with a black dash, door panels, and rubber flooring, which is perfectly contrasted by white visors, a white headliner, and white and black checkered bench seat that gives off a cool retro vibe.

Head Turner

Add it all up, and you've got a seriously clean Ford F-150 that's sure to attract envious stares everywhere it goes. There's just something about a nice old Blue Oval pickup that can't be denied, and the fact that this one is sporting a classic green paint job doesn't hurt, either.
