A Unique Bronco for a Noble Cause

A 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands, transformed by Galpin Auto Sports, is now up for auction to support the Tyler Robinson Foundation, a charity founded by the rock band Imagine Dragons to help families battling pediatric cancer. This vehicle made its public debut at the 2023 SEMA Show, and it’s more than just an off-road beast—it’s a symbol of hope. Finished in a striking Eruption Green Metallic paint with gold accents, the Bronco has a unique aesthetic, blending retro vibes with modern off-road design.

Standout Exterior Features

The exterior of this Bronco has been meticulously crafted, starting with the gold-painted removable roof and grille that contrasts sharply against the green body. The 17-inch Fifteen52 aluminum wheels, also painted gold, elevate the look further. The vehicle is equipped with Body Armor steel bumpers, a bull bar, and a Warn VR Evo 12s winch, making it ready for the most demanding terrains. LED headlights from Oracle and auxiliary Rigid lighting ensure it can illuminate even the darkest trails, while the rugged roof rack accommodates a Recon Recovery Kexaa rooftop tent and camping gear, perfect for extended outdoor adventures.

Off-Road Enhancements

This Bronco isn’t just about looks. Galpin Auto Sports upgraded the suspension with Bilstein coilovers and Camburg front upper control arms and rear trailing arms, which offer improved off-road handling. Wilwood brakes provide powerful stopping power, and additional off-road components include steel skid plates and an electronically-controlled front sway bar. The factory-installed Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) modes ensures that this Bronco can conquer any obstacle in its path.

Interior Additions

Inside, the Bronco features tan and black Katzkin leather seats, giving the rugged vehicle a touch of luxury. The cabin is equipped with advanced technology, including Ford’s SYNC 4 infotainment system, a 12-inch touchscreen, and a premium Rockford Fosgate sound system. Ford Co-Pilot360 adds a suite of driver assistance features, such as adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring. Other enhancements include a wireless charging pad, heated seats, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system, ensuring a comfortable and connected driving experience even in the wild.

Practical Off-Road and Camping Accessories

This Bronco is built for adventure with its expansive collection of camping gear. The vehicle includes a Dometic 12-volt refrigerator/freezer, folding chairs, a collapsible grill, and cargo drawers, all of which fit neatly in the rear cargo area. For longer expeditions, the Recon Recovery rooftop tent offers quick setup, while the awning provides shelter from the elements. These practical features make the Bronco perfect for explorers who enjoy extended trips off the grid.

Power and Performance

Under the hood, the Bronco’s twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 delivers 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. The engine is enhanced with a Roush air induction system and a Magnaflow Overland Series cat-back exhaust, ensuring both power and performance. Its 10-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case provide smooth gear shifts, while the Sasquatch Package adds electronic locking differentials, giving the Bronco unparalleled control and capability in off-road settings.

More Than Just a Vehicle

Beyond the Bronco’s extraordinary build, the Bring a Trailer auction’s proceeds will directly benefit the Tyler Robinson Foundation, which helps families offset expenses as they navigate pediatric cancer treatments. The winning bidder will also receive a signed Hero Firefly guitar and two VIP tickets to an Imagine Dragons concert. This makes the auction not just an opportunity to own an exceptional vehicle but a chance to support a life-changing cause. With 2 days left on the BaT listing as of this writing, bids are expected to continue to build upon the $78,000 current leader.
