Following a few difficult years plagued by production issues, supply chain problems, and various other macroeconomic factors, the automotive industry finally began to bounce back in 2023. However, used and new vehicle prices remain elevated, though that certainly hasn't stopped people from buying - in fact, a grand total of four Ford models recently made the cut on iSeeCars' list of the most popular used vehicles of 2023

Ford F-150

Given the fact that the Ford F-150 has been America's best-selling new vehicle for more than four decades, it isn't surprising that the pickup is also a hot entity on the used vehicle market. In fact, the F-150 was the most popular used vehicle of 2023 after accounting for 3.3 percent of all sales last year. That's exactly the same percentage as 2022 as well, when the F-150 also finished first among all used vehicles in the U.S.

Ford Explorer

Then we have the Ford Explorer, which ranked as the ninth best-selling used vehicle of 2023 after accounting for 1.5 percent of all sales in the U.S. last year. The Explorer also finished with that same percentage in 2022, but that only netted it 11th place, so the long-running crossover/SUV did at least move up the list slightly this year.

Ford Escape

The Ford Escape is our next top-selling Blue Oval used model after ranking in 13th place on this year's list from iSeeCars by making up 1.4 percent of all used vehicle sales in 2023. That is a bit of a decline versus 2022, however, when the Escape finished the year at 1.6 percent of total sales - good enough for ninth place.

Ford Mustang Mach-E

Finally, we have the Ford Mustang Mach-E, which closed out 2023 as the seventh most popular used EV model in the U.S. after accounting for 4.6 percent of the total sales in that particular segment. The Mach-E also finished seventh in 2022, but did so with a lower share of 3.7 percent as the EV crossover continues to eat into Tesla's sales dominance.
