7 Chevy Tug of War Fails (Against the Ford)

When it comes to trucks, the Ford and the Chevy have been rivals for decades. The debate will always be there, but there is always the tried and true method for determining the best truck: the tug-of-war.

1. The Little Engine That Didn’t Stop Trying

Who wishes to be defeated? Well, this Chevy most certainly didn’t. The Ford didn’t even have to lift a finger, as the video shows the poor Chevy not having a chance. Even after seeing the clear winner, the Chevy driver continued (and failed) to pick up what he had of his pride. Ed, buddy, you tried.

2. Eating Your Words

There is a sense of satisfaction when a loud talker ends up eating their words. This is certainly the case here. The Chevy owner thought he could own the Ford. Unfortunately for him, not only did the Chevy fail to pull the Ford, the Ford took it for a joy ride around the parking lot.

3. Taking a Stroll

This Ford decided the Chevy needed a stroll off the beaten path. The video shows the Ford winning on the concrete path as well as on the grass. There is nothing more embarrassing than getting dragged around. This Chevy learned the hard way that when it comes to trucks, you better not mess with the ones that are built tough.

4. Parts Not Included

Nothing could possibly show a more clear winner than a Chevy breaking down, in half. This video shows that the strength of a Ford can’t be contained, as it takes the Chevy right off its wheels. It was most certainly a close call since the beginning shows the Chevy beginning to pull the Ford, but Adam’s Ford proved to be the winner, the stronger, and now the tug-of-war champion.

5. A Game of Inches

Let's face it, the dominant truck is sometimes measured by a few inches, and even though this Ford truck didn't break the Chevy Suburban in half, it still got the inches that makes it the boss in this tug-of-war. We will give little credit to the Chevy for hanging in there, but the old Ford truck showed some vicious behavior.

6. Big Chevy vs. Small Ford

Tug-of-war is a competitive game, and the bigger and stronger usually goes back to their garage a winner. However, things got embarrassing for this big, bad Chevy truck, as it lost the tug-of-war to a small, old Ford truck. This is a classic case of the little guy beating up the big, scary bully in front of the entire school.

7 Go Home Chevy, You're Drunk

We've all seen the old man that wants to find the young, fit kid. The reality is, sometimes you just have to hang the gloves. This determined Chevy owner decided to go against his brother, the Ford truck owner, and the results were not good. After a clear win for the Ford truck, the brothers realized that the 1999 Ford truck broke the 1993 Chevy truck's axle, which was only a week old.
