2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary Package: 7 Interesting Facts and Features
Based on the Outer Banks trim and equipped with the Sasquatch Package, the 60th Anniversary 2026 Bronco is a love letter to the 1966 Bronco.
Celebrating a Milestone
Though it disappeared for a whopping 25 years before being resurrected for the 2021 model year, the Ford Bronco is celebrating 60 years since its debut in 1966 with the forthcoming model year. As such, The Blue Oval has created something extra special to celebrate that occasion - the new 2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary Package.
Based on the Outer Banks trim and equipped with the Sasquatch Package as standard, the 60th Anniversary 2026 Bronco can also be had with either the standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 or 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engines. However, the big news here are the many cool and interesting features contained within that special package.
1. An Iconic Color Returns
First, it's worth noting that the 60th Anniversary Package comes in a classic Blue Oval color - Wimbledon White - which has been offered on a wide array of models over the years, including the very first Bronco. Customers can also spec the package with Ruby Red if they wish, but either way, the package includes a Wimbledon White top.
2. Wheels Designed To Look Like Hubcaps
The 60th Anniversary Bronco package also comes with a special set of wheels - 17-inch Gravity Gray alloy units sporting a contrasting Vermilion Red center cap with a Bucking Bronco logo in the middle and "1966" on the outside ring, which is the SUV's first model year of production. Together, these elements are intended to pay homage to the hubcaps present on the first Bronco, interestingly enough.
3. Updated Retro Grille
Those subtle throwbacks continue up front, where one will find a grille that's also inspired by the piece present on the original Bronco. As one might imagine, it's been updated to offer a more modern look, finished in Warm Alloy paint and Vermilion Red "BRONCO" lettering.
4. Familiar Graphics
Moving down the sides, we see a Vermilion Red graphic that runs the length of the doors, and features a 60th Anniversary logo near the front with a Bucking Bronco in between those two numbers. A similar stripe was also available on the original Bronco, and we recently saw it present on the 60th Anniversary Mustang package, to boot.
5. Shared Features
Speaking of the Mustang's 60th Anniversary Package, it also inspired the Bronco package's fender adornments, utilizing the same classic cloisonné badging as its pony car counterpart - albeit with Bronco script and logos in this case.
6. Unique Materials
Peek inside the cabin, and one will find an array of unique materials and features that set the 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary Package apart from the rest of the lineup. Those include Ebony leather upholstery with Alpine leather inserts, Alpine marine-grade vinyl arm rests, Alpine stitching on the leather-topped dash, and Bronco Red accents on the instrument panel and grab handles, plus loads of 60th Anniversary badging and embroidery.
7. Brand New Features
Finally, it's worth noting that the 2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary Package gets a few new features as well. Those include standard wheelbase-length running boards, new A-pillar-mounted grab handles (which will be available across the entire 2026 Bronco lineup), a matte black Ford badge on the tailgate, and a hard-center rear tire cover that's finished in Wimbledon White with a Vermilion Red "BRONCO" script.
