Changing Minds

There was a time when the only folks that bought trucks were those that needed them. In fact, trucks were often used only for work, while families then piled into sedans to head out to town on the weekend. These days, however, trucks are capable of doing everything well, and the latest and greatest - all-new 2021 Ford F-150 - is good enough at everything to make even the non-truck buying folks at PureWow consider purchasing one.

Feature Laden

The author admits that he was never really a car person, but has gravitated toward smaller cars in recent years. However, after spending some time behind the wheel of a new F-150, he was quickly enthralled with its many features, including Pro Power Onboard, which has been known to come in handy.

Sanctuary

The F-150's cabin also impressed our non-truck fan with its spaciousness, 12-inch touchscreen, interior work surface, SYNC 4, and Max Recline Seats, along with that 18-speaker B&O sound system that can kick out the jams when your nap is over.

Workstation

The tailgate is its own workstation, thanks to the available Tailgate Work Surface with integrated tools and space for things like cell phones, as well as clamp pockets and tie-downs when a little construction work is called for.

Light It Up

The F-150's zone lighting also impressed our reviewer, which provides plenty of light around the truck that can be controlled via the FordPass app. This feature proved to be especially handy in the dark, making it easy to load or unload the bed without having to use your phone's flashlight while doing so.

Ready to Buy

The author was also surprised by the number of configurations the 2021 F-150 is available in, providing something for literally every taste. "Be prepared to spend some time mulling over the options," he said. "No matter which you end up choosing, one thing's for sure: With best-in-class available towing and best-in-class available payload, your new F-150 won’t ever quit. Ready to build and price your own? I know I am."
