Phat Phabz On Point As Ever

Phat Phabz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma has been one of the most lauded and recognized frame building and truck restoration shops in the United States for some time now. With the appropriate funds and an idea in hand, truck restomod connoisseurs can make any dream come truck. When it came to one of their most recent projects, the Phat Phabz boys, lead by the esteemed Jake McKiddie, plotted to create a bagged new body F-350 dually —and bag it, they did.

Ticket to Ride

When it came time for the Phat Phabz crew to knock out another head-turning custom build, the sky was the limit. The first step was to separate the 2017 Ford F-350 body from its stock frame. Their goal? Construct a new chassis with 2x4-foot/.188-inch-wall tubing as well as having double rails run under the cab.

Power & Punch

Once the chassis was complete, the Phat Phabz crew called on American Force for an immaculate set of brand-new 26-inch Code wheels. A set of Wilwood six-piston calipers with 16-inch rotors was installed behind those American Force wheels to provide some serious stopping power. The truck’s 6.7L Power Stroke V8, features a sectioned/custom-fabbed intake, sectioned oil pan and pickup tube, powdercoated intake and valve covers, polished inline water-to-air intercooler, and polished aluminum charge pipes.

Custom' Kicker

Roadwire seat covers, wood inlays and a custom stereo setup from Kicker highlight the truck's interior, which is complete with a state-of-the-art navigation system. The Kicker system pumps out tunes via a 10-inch subwoofer and 500-watt Kicker amp.

Tangled Up in Blue

Repainted in a stark royal blue, the truck's full color change and custom graphics were laid out courtesy of CD Designs. The combination of contrasting colors really set this truck apart at shows and from stock painted trucks.

The construction of a new full set of custom upper and lower control arms was also in order. Phat Phabz also went with new-to-market Accuair Endo VT and E-level management system to ensure no issues would arise from valve or air pressure errors.
