1. Hajek Motorsport's Land Speed Record-Holding Super Duty

Diesel-powered, heavy duty trucks aren't exactly what you think of first when you imagine the types of vehicles that chase land speed records on Bonneville's famous Salt Flats.  But Hajek Motorsport's 2011 F-250, powered by a 6.7 liter Power Stroke, owns two records for both diesel and biodiesel trucks — both achieved on those proving grounds. With a top speed of 171.23 mph on regular diesel and 182 mph on biodiesel, this might just be the fastest flying brick in the world.

2. SPE's Power Stroke Dragster

How do you make a Power Stroke even faster?  By yanking it out of the heavy truck it's in, and placing it in a super lightweight dragster chassis!  SPE built the first Power Stroke dragster in the country, and it also happens to be the fastest Power Stroke in the world after laying down an 8.43 second 1/4 mile at 170 mph.

3. H&S Motorsports' Ford Lightning

The Ford Lightning was a fast truck in its original gas engine configuration.  But it had nothing on this H&S Motorsports 7.3-liter, Power Stroke-equipped beast.  With a whopping 1,400 horsepower, this blacked-out Lightning has run as quick as 8.82 seconds in the 1/4 mile at 162 mph.  This is the very same truck that was the first Power Stroke to break into the 9's, so we probably haven't seen the last of it either.

4. Rudy's 6.4-Powered World Beater

Rudy's Diesel Performance is very familiar with building some of the fastest Power Stroke trucks in the world. They've already built what was (at the time) the quickest, fastest, and most powerful 6.4-liter Power Stroke anywhere — a 2008 F-250 that ran a 9.49 second 1/4 mile at 147 mph.  But that truck only produced a mere 1,300 horsepower at the wheels.  Their newest truck is also a 6.4, but it boasts a ridiculous 2,000 horsepower.  Debuting in the fall of 2016, it's a safe bet that Rudy's latest beast will break some more records along the way.

5. Cutting Edge Performance's "Deranged" Ranger

Currently the world's fastest Power Stroke behind only SPE's dragster, Cutting Edge Performance's "Deranged" Ranger has laid down a best 1/4 mile time of 9.36 seconds at 153 mph.  It has a 6.0 with massive turbos for motivation, making over 840 horsepower on the motor alone.  A heavy dose of nitrous makes this the fastest coal-rolling Ranger in the country.
