Pretty Much Perfect

Few, if any trucks in history can measure up to a Ford built in the 1970s, as most Blue Oval fans would argue. Give that vintage pickup the right stance, and it's even better. Such is the case with this 1976 Ford F-250 that's up for grabs at David's Classic Cars - with the right color combination and a lift, this old pickup is just about perfect in our eyes.

Classic Combo

For starters, it's virtually impossible to beat the vintage goodness of a two-tone Ford pickup, and this one is playing it perfectly with a classic combination of red and white. The body and paintwork appear to be in pretty much perfect condition, and that extends to the chrome as well.

Enhanced Beauty

Slap on a set of white factory 8-lug wheels and larger white letter tires, and you've got a truly timeless look that will never go out of style. This particular 1976 F-250 also sits a bit higher than stock thanks to a Rough Country lift kit, but that just enhances what was already an amazing vehicle, in our humble opinion.

Simple and Clean

As one might expect by now, the interior of this old Ford pickup is in pretty much perfect condition as well and is also covered in red. The cabin is also in bone stock condition, which means that there's nothing fancy to be found - just a simple cloth bench seat, steering wheel, and the sort of things you need to drive it, but nothing else.

Maximum Inches

Pop the hood, and you'll find the rather large 460 cubic-inch Ford V8, which should move this big pickup down the road with no problem. It's been fitted with headers and dual exhaust to enhance the V8 sound that everyone loves, and is mated to a manual gearbox for maximum fun.

Notable Amenities

Other notable amenities included with this stellar rig include power steering and brakes, which are pretty much the only options we care to see on a truck of this vintage, aside from air conditioning.

Test of Time

Altogether, this gorgeous 1976 Ford F-250 has everything one would want from an old truck and nothing that you don't. It's a truly beautiful truck that will stand the test of time, drawing just as much attention today (if not more) than it did when it was new, decades ago.
