Lifted 1979 Ford F-150 Is the Son of Bigfoot
Bigfoot, the original monster truck, has spawned many cool builds like this one over the years.
Bigfoot Junior
Monster truck and Blue Oval fans alike can thank Bob Chandler for his incredible foresight and vision. As most already know, Chandler created the world's first monster truck way back in the mid-1970s, transforming his 1974 F-250 into the legendary Bigfoot and spawning both a new sport and a look that remains incredibly popular today. It's also been emulated a few times over, including by this super-clean 1979 F-150 owned by Marco Garcia and recently featured at Ford Daily.

Standing Out
Garcia's gorgeous F-150 obviously isn't some sort of exact Bigfoot clone, but its blue paint, lifted suspension, and large Super Swamper tires certainly help it conjure up memories of the original monster truck. But this particular pickup stands out as a stellar build on its own regard, too.

Simple But Effective
Much of that can be attributed to a few simple mods - a six-inch lift, 15x16-inch Real wheels, and 35x15.5-inch Super Swamper rubber. Those few simple additions totally transform the way this old F-150 looks, giving it a menacing stance and a look that conjures up memories of a truly legendary pickup.

Stunning Result
There aren't any other modifications listed, and the truck looks mostly stock in every other regard. However, its blue paint, chrome, and trim appear to be in simply perfect condition, so we wouldn't be surprised to learn that the truck has been redone in every other possible way. Regardless, the results are simply stunning.

Next Level
Garcia's stellar 1979 F-150 is proof that you don't need to do much to these trucks to make them extra cool, as they're pretty amazing as-is. But when you add a little Bigfoot-inspired flair, that's more than enough to take a 1970s Blue Oval pickup to the next level.
