This green really makes the old truck pop and I’ve never seen one in this color and when I google it, this is the only one that shows up. Rare find and a tribute to the car I learned to drive on it’s it’s destruction is what triggered me to restore ole’ blue.

If you look in the corner, you’ll see the 1995 surf green golf on fire. That was the car I learned to drive a manual on and it’s quite a rare find only 1,000 in the United States painted surf green in 1995.

All the primered areas I used 4 tubes of seam sealer to accomplish. I also used 4 cans of the self etching primer from dupli-color.

I used this as an undercoating because it chemically adheres to the surface and is great at helping prevent rust from getting under my topcoat of Raptor Bedliner I’ll be using for my texture, soundproofing.
