What's the deal with the Permanent Transmission Fluid?
2014 Ford F-150, 118,000 miles, purchased last week.
OK, I know this was only designed to get a new owner past the warranty... however, I do not even see a way to check the tranny fluid, at least from the top of the engine. There is nothing in the owners manual that I can find, either.
So, is there a dipstick of sorts and where is it located?
What is the recommended change interval, recommended fluid and approximate quantity needed?
Any additional information will be greatly appreciated.
