CCV return to intake with internal catch can - 1000 miles later
I installed a CCV return to intake with internal catch can about 1000 miles ago.
prior to that I had the latest CCV installed for about 100 miles.
prior to that the stock ccv
due to mostly NYC local stop and go driving , with the stock CCV and the latest CCV I was having creeping oil levels.
with the return to intake plus internal catch can I have been surprisingly pleased that the oil level has stopped creeping.
this will save me some money since I was changing my oil super early due to the fuel dilution issue.
I dont think the results would be that dramatic for open roads driving....but here in NYC....you drive 500 feet...stop...wait one to two minutes for the red light to turn green...drive 500 more feet...repeat.
Now I am thinking it would not work with a stock CCV box because it is one piece and the rear would be higher due to the addition of the internal catch can (mounting top plate).
Their box has a separate mount for the hose from the rear port... so it would more than likely work with their recirculation CCV box.

it would work with the recirculating box and the traditional ccv fitting to hose.
