I have the above truck, the guy I bought it from did some makes shift hose work and it's not right.
In the pictures you see the hose I have held up with a Y in it, those line suck IN, he had them on the palatium pictured under my hand, which also sucks IN. where do these hoses really suppose to be going?
Yes, but that is not working, the person I bought it from did some "Make Shift" vacuum line stuff, he actually had water line pvc pipe going from the air box to the the valve cover. Even going by that diagram on the inside of the hood it's not working. When I do that and I feel on the hoses, the connection is Sucking IN, and the hose is sucking IN, that does not make sense to me. one should be pushing and one sucking.
Or am I just over Thinking it?

Nipples on intake should suck. The hose you attach to it will also suck on the opposite end where it attaches to. None will push.
