Question Ford 10.25 rear axle, rear center brake hose question

On my 1996 F250 4x4 HD, I attempted to install a couple of M12 washers (Dorman 097-829CD) to act as banjo washers on the bottom fitting of the rear center rubber brake hose, and the inside diameter of the washers fit around the rear axle breather fitting with some wiggle room. It appears these washers will not work, brake fluid is leaking still out of this bottom fitting. What would be recommended for use as banjo washers?

Before I attempted to use the M12 washers, I tried the Dorman 66272 washers. They have an inside diameter of 25/64 inch and ended up being too small.

Get a package of brass drain plug washers
You can also re use the original brass ones, although they say not to in the books
Just find brass ones that fit
They do not have to fit exact
They will seal even if they fit a bit loose on the bolt
Torque them down nice and tight, and one trick is, to smack the bolt with a kitchen hammer once and retighten the bolt
Common to see them loose and leaking when a guy does not crank those bolts down enough
The torque spec is about 20 lbs. and they break off at about 45
If you are using an old crush washer you need 30

When I removed my old rear center rubber hose, I didn't see any crush washers. I wish I knew the thread pitch of that rear axle breather fitting, for I would probably buy a new bolt of that same pitch to perform the tapping, and then by the time I put the rear axle breather fitting in, the crush washers would most likely be set? What would be a good thickness for those banjo washers?

Those brass sealing washers "are" the crush washers
They need to go on both sides of the banjo bolt

I do not know why the old rear center hose didn't have any crush/banjo washers on it, it didn't leak prior to my removing the old rubber rear center hose. It was suggested to me to replace the rear center hose, since I already bought a set of two (2) new solid rear axle brake lines to go to both wheel cylinders.

It was suggested in post 4 for me to get a package of brass washers. It would be helpful for me to know what the thread fitting pitch is for that rear axle breather fitting, so that I can obtain a bolt of the same pitch to help seat the new crush/banjo washers, and then I can install the rear axle breather fitting with the seated washers so that I don't have brake fluid leaks.

Well, that hose is the junction block for both sides and the bolt is hollow
That means there was sealing washers, you might see one stuck to the bolt still?
Either way, that bolt and the junction block will pot concentric grooves in the washers as they smash down
You saw no washers with concentric rings? When taking it apart?
