Pusher intake follow up

Pusher intake follow up

7k miles since the DCR/Pusher intake install and I thought I would show some pics of the intake tract from the cold pipe to intake. As you can see, it is almost spotless from ccv and egr contamination. Very impressed with all of this, I'm sure there is still some black dry soot further down from the egr doing its thing but the IAT sensor, throttle plate, etc. are providing a smoother flow. The truck is so much better to drive especially under load and towing. Drove it from Wisconsin to Key West towing the rv and it was a night and day difference. None of the items were cleaned prior to taking pictures, I laid the components and took the pics.

Looks good. No EGR soot doesn't surprise me since they are both well upstream from new entry point of the EGR.

That said that looks a lot better than what mine looked like from CCV nastiness on mine when I did the CAC tube two years ago.

Glad, it is treating you well.

Thanks.............I think its clean mainly because of the ccv reroute, no more moist vapor, ever.

I will be finally doing my CCV reroute in about 2 weeks! I have had it for over a year... lol! I don't think I am pulling the intakes off til I am ready to replace them though... unfortunately, that isn't any time soon...
