Transmission and rear axle oil
Hello, I have a 59 with a 223, Ford 3sp LD transmission and 9” rear axle. I am looking for recommendations for transmission oil and rear axle oil. My shop service manual says SAE 50 oil for the transmission and SAE 90 mineral oil for the rear axle. Unfortunately my operators manual calls for SAE 90 for both the transmission and the rear axle. Looking for some guidance. Thanks
