56 F100, older restoration, restored to original specs.
I just picked this up Saturday. Clean truck not a speck of rust. Older restoration that sat for a bit so the tires need to be replaced (cracked/dry rotted), and I have to get the gas gauge working and fix a very small oil leak around the fuel pump but otherwise it rides and looks very nice. Still has oil bath air cleaner, cartridge oil filter etc. No plans to modify it (except seat belts). Just going to cruise around town. 223/Fordomatic
Hey Spaz, that's a very nice 56. And welcome to FTE the best Ford truck forum on the World wide Web.
And since you live near Philly, let me invite you to the 2026 Central PA Truckstock on Oct 1-4 at the Bald Eagle State Park in Centre County. We get together and hang out and talk Ford trucks. Most guys arrive Thursday, we cruise around the mountains of Central PA Friday and Saturday and we break camp Sunday.
Thanks, I just looked that park is 3 hours 32 minutes from my house each way using all highway. Not sure how much highway driving I’ll be doing with it. Using back roads is probably almost 5 hours each way. But we are away on vacation that week anyway.
