2000 F250 cranking but NOT always starting
Hey y'all, got a bit of a weird one I can't quite figure out. 2000 F250 cranks but not always starting. Id say when I go to try and start it, it actually starts about 25% of the time, but when it does start it runs like it should and doesn't die or anything like that and NO SES light. It started doing this about 2 weeks ago, when it blew a power steering line and lost all the fluid, also since then the battery light has been ON, but both batteries are good, alternator is charging like it should, I haven't taken the alternator off to have it checked by an auto store yet, to see if internally its all good. I did check my ICP sensor and it was wet inside, but unsure if this could be from when the PS pump lost all the fluid and it got flung up and got inside it somehow or what. (I know thats a bit of stretch) I'm going to clean it out tomorrow real good and see if indeed the ICP sensor is bad or not. But before I started diagnosing or throwing parts at it wanted to come here and ask if anyone has ever had a similar issue. Thanks in advance.
