Anyone familiar with the Mark III package on a 1995 Ford F150?
Hi, I just bought a 1995 F150 4wd with the Mark III interior package. I bought it as a non-running project truck. I just picked it up today, the previous owner didn't offer much info on it other than it died one day and he wasn't able to figure it out and has sat since.
As a part of the Mark III package, it has a very goofy alarm system, which I think may be the cause of it not running. I hooked up a new battery to it and immediately the alarm sounded, lights flashed, buzzers chimed like crazy lol. I read some info online about the Mark III package and it says that the system came with a fob to turn off the system, but unfortunately it could not be found anywhere.
I'm not at all familiar with the Mark III package or if the alarm can prevent the truck from starting, I haven't been able to find any wiring diagrams on it.
Anyone familiar with the Mark III package in these trucks or where the security system module is or how to delete/bypass it? Any help would be much appreciated
Aftermarket alarms are typically up by ebrake assembly that I have seen, mine was on the 88...old Viper. Also check behind pass kick panel as you can control the door locks from there.
The package was some conversion, obviously and I have seen a few but not lately. No clue who did them, maybe that is the name of the company. I swear they did vans too.
