Fuel in oil and codes P207F & P24A0
Hello all,
I have had two codes P207F and P24A0 for a year and a half. The warning came up for reduced speed but the truck never went into limp mode. In addition, I changed my oil recently to discover it was 6 quarts overfilled.
I had the old oil analyzed and it had diesel mixed in. The oil had 3,500 miles on it. I performed a test drive with a scanner and the EGT's and NOx readings looked good and DEF pump is functioning.
The truck runs great, starts good, no smoke, idles smooth and there are no modifications. I have been running with the motocraft 10w-30w but switched to 5W-40W full synthetic.
I have 60 miles on the new oil change, no check engine light and oil level has not moved.
Any help is very much appreciated.
