Fuel Filter 2000 F150

How often do you change the fuel filter on a 10th Gen F150 ?
Changed the fuel filter 4 yrs ago and it has roughly 30 000 kms on it. Too soon to change ?

I reckon with all the ethanol junk in the fuel these days, maybe these Filters don't last as long???
It was an OEM Motorcraft installed.

They are inexpensive, so up to you. 30000 km is not a pile of miles, I suppose also how clean the fuel is you have purchased and things of that nature

If in doubt, swap it. Hell, I probably should on my Screw it has been five years.

I changed it. It was OEM and probably would have been good longer but the truck was on the lift and he didn't charge much for the fuel filter swap. I used a K&N.
It's listed as a "premium" upgrade.

Motorcraft is listed as economy.
K&N as "High Performance" and cheaper as well

Agreed
Cheap insurance (well, they used to be 10 bucks)
I change mine at roughly 15000 mile intervals on vehicles that have them
I dump them in my lawmnower and check them in 2 days when they dry out to see how clogged they were
Most are not clogged at all

I have a fuel pressure gauge. Normal pressure runs between 35-40psi on my older 2001 Ford F150 4.2l with 180k miles. If the pressure gets below 35psi conistently, I would consider R&R'ing fuel filter. The main thing is to avoid running gas tank too low for long periods of time, otherwise you might get air lock in the fuel supply lines.
