5 star Mobile Service Sarasota Ford

Sarasota Ford reached out to me last week and scheduled a Mobile service visit to do a recall, Software update for towing. How convenient was this. 2 young men arrived in their spotless service truck. While one was doing the software upgrade the other checked tire wear, brake pad wear, cabin air filter, wiper blades and did a Low Voltage battery load test. How convenient was this. It took 25 minutes, no driving to the dealership or getting a loaner.

Update.

A few days after the mobile service updated the trailer brake software I hooked up the trailer at night to use it and the running lights on the trailer didn’t work. I plugged my trailer test light kit and confirmed that the problem was on the truck side.

So I called Sarasota Ford the next morning and the sent our their ”Master Tech”. After 30 minutes of troubleshooting he diagnosed it as a blown fuse. It’s a New style mini fuse which he didn’t have with him. He drove back to the shop and came back 1 hour later with the fuse and left me with 5 spares. He said sometimes fuses blow after this software update.

I have since towed the enclosed cargo trailer twice since and all is working as expected.

While it was a little annoying I still give Sarasota Ford 5 stars for their response.

Giving them five stars is the right answer to awesome service. My local dealer stopped their mobile service due to costs and the two other dealers in my area never started it.

It's a hassle going to the dealer so if you have good mobile service, you should enjoy it.

Our local dealer at Port Orchard Ford offers it, and I need to give it a try. Glad you had some great customer service.
