parking brake cable routing?

parking brake cable routing?
I should have taken better notes. Anyhow, I removed the parking brake cable and now I don't know if it's routed inboard of the steering box (towards the engine) or snakes underneath the steering box and up the inner fender. A little clue would be helpful. thanks in advance. I do know that there is a clamping point on the inner fender but don't know for certain the route it takes to get there.
