Replacing leaf spring bushings
I'm about to start the replacement of the bushing on my Flex-o-matic leaf springs on my 1968 F100 and I'm just shy of 74 yrs old and working in my carport without a vehicle lift.
Is it easier to change the bushings in place or do I need to remove the leaf springs?

It's easier to swing a hammer when there off. But if the bushing are shot and come out easy, do it in place and save yourself some work. Now new bushing may be hard going in. If you have some way of pressing them (c-clamp) in your good.
