When I powered up the radio this morning, I am not hearing any audio. When I got home last night, all was well.
Are there any diagnostics for the sound system?
Thanks.

As with any electrical glitch such as this, the first thing I'd try is disconnecting your battery for a few minutes, then reconnect it, and while you're at it clean your battery posts. Often times this can reset things to where they come back and start working properly again.
Being a 2016 Lariat it has Ford Sync 2 and lock ups are a common with that system just disconnect the battery or pull #29 fuse. I solved the problem in my 2013 by upgrading it to Sync 3.

Update; So, I was visiting a friend of mine in hospital all day after this happened on my way there. When he was dozing out off and on I was searching the web for related issues. I did see the fuse and battery fix like you guys stated.
This evening when I left the hospital, started up my truck, everything was working.
Same thing happens with my reverse camera, it goes static like on start-up, turn off the ignition and restart, all is well.
Thanks for the advise.
(took it in last month for the camera recal, camera system "did not produse a code" so dealership did nothing.}
It won't get a code it just has to be rebooted but after it started it got worse over time until I got tired of it and replaced the system. One time the radio won't shut off until I rebooted it by pulling the fuse, the system is a real piece of crap. The $530 I spent for the system was well worth the price.
