Mustangman7 Restores A 1975 F150 Ranger XLT Supercab
Hello,
I have been lurking for at least 2 years, ever since I bought my F150. I plan on showing the long and tedious process of building it my way. :-}
This is it still sitting in the previous owners driveway in San Antonio Texas.

Very first thing I did when it was delivered to Michigan was to take these door damaging mirrors off and replace them with the western style folding mirrors.

Hello and welcome to FTE
Nice truck. I was about to ask what cool art there is on the hood , but then I recognized it's the shadow of the basketball hoop
Thanks. I see you are in Germany. Might you know about Detroit Technologies Inc. in Germany? Soenke is one of the largest importers of American Muscle cars in Europe and he is also the owner of my Retired Michigan State Police 1994 9C1 Police Cruiser!
Here was the first indicator to look into this truck further before I drove it. I found this speaker wire being used to POWER something under the dash. Can you say fire hazard?
From there I found household romex twist nuts holding wires together under the hood and under the dash so it was at that point I knew I had to inspect everything. Very glad I did. Was told the truck had no rust or rust repair before I bought it and yet I found this under the carpet.
It was at this point I decided to take the entire truck apart since everything I found was done sub-standard. Who in their wildest dreams expects to find a patch panel in the floor that is not even attached to the rocker panel?
